Posted in Linux on May 11th, 2005 by site adminseems the Fedora core 1 didn’t keep maintain from the community. I found out that http://fedoralegacy.org/#main has Fedora core one apt server, so I swich from http://ayo.freshrpms.net to fedoralegacy.org

Linux server hardware upgrade
Posted in Linux on May 2nd, 2005 by site adminThe previous hardware use the Intel 810 chipset, Celeron 733MHz cpu, 512 SDRAM, viedo onboard. I upgrade the hardware as following.
Asus Intel 845 chipset, P4 3.2GHz, Apacer DDR 512M, still use the Software Raid highpoint 454 IDE raid 5, 4 x 80G IDE HD attached.
Running the perl program seems much faster than previous hardware.
